A few days ago, I walked into a FabIndia store, drawn in by its vibrant display of handcrafted textiles, as I wandered through, my attention went on a linen-finish (similar to Khadi fabric) window curtain, something about it paused me there the way light filtered through its delicate weave, casting soft, diffused shadows, the organic texture invited a handwoven connection, a quiet moment of appreciation. That moment stayed with me, it made me reflect on how design is more than just aesthetics or function, it’s about evoking a response, a feeling, as a designer, I’ve learned that curiosity is what transforms passive observation into meaningful insights.
